The Difference between VG and PG
Vegetable Glycerin (VG) is thick and a little sweet. It produces luscious clouds of vapor. VG e-liquid also imparts a sweeter taste to your liquid.
Propylene Glycol (PG) :will give a much better throat hit and carries most of the flavor.
Which to choose if sub-ohming?
If you are running a sub-ohm device or prefer a smoother vape, choose a higher VG content, such as 70VG/30PG or MAX VG (80% VG content). VG is much thicker and can withstand the heat production in a sub-ohm tank. A too thin liquid may cause leakiness or a harsh feeling in back of the throat.
If you are not sub-ohming and are running a coil above 1.0 ohm, you may want a 60VG/40PG or 50/50 ratio. PG will carry more flavor, but will also give a harsher feeling, especially with higher nicotine levels.
